Angela got her start in the entertainment industry when she was cast in an Indie film within weeks of landing in NYC. She split her time between acting and dancing while in New York, but soon chose to concentrate on her acting career, which lead to a move to LA.
Angela studied acting in Los Angeles with Lesly Kahn for many years as her most formative training. She then proceeded to teach acting at Lesly Kahn & Co. Comedy is Angela’s greatest love, but she is able to flip the switch and play a serious doctor/lawyer/businessperson in dramas, as well. Angela’s first big break in the film industry was when she got to work with Daniel Dae Kim and Peter Gallagher in a movie adaptation of Aldus Huxley’s book, “Brave New World.” Upcoming films include “A Nice Girl Like You” with Lucy Hale and “Judy Small” with Alicia Silverstone.
Angela can also be seen on episodes of Modern Love, Law & Order: SVU, Blue Bloods, Billions, NCIS:LA, Instant Mom, Criminal Minds, Castle, Outcast, Scream Queens and many more television shows.
In her free time, Angela is a member of the Board of Directors of The Blank Theatre Company. While located in Hollywood, this theatre company has a national (if not international) reach with it many programs to nurture and support playwrights, actors, directors and all aspects of the theatre. The Blank’s Young Playwrights Festival has included such amazing talents such as Debra Messing, Chris Pine, Sherri Shepherd, Vanessa Williams, Alyson Hannigan, Sarah Michelle Gellar, Molly Shannon, Eliza Dushku, Josh Radnor, Noah Wyle, Johnny Galecki and many others.
Angela has served as a volunteer for womens’ homeless shelters (DWC and OPCC) and also Project Angel Food which delivers meals to those affected by HIV.
Angela currently splits her time between New York City and Los Angeles and is grateful to be able to work in both magical cities.
